As a paid display specialist, you’ll be part of a critical team that helps drive [your organization]’s growth, awareness, and success through creative paid campaigns across multiple platforms, particularly Google Ads and Bing, social media advertising (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube),  Ads, or other social media platforms. The position will also implement placement of paid programmatic display campaigns on various networks. You’ll be maintaining paid ad campaigns every day, monitoring returns while performing research to discover actionable insights and  ensure continuous best practices.


Typical responsibilities: 

  • Implement search, display, and social campaigns, managing to budgets
  • Help your team define, monitor, and measure KPIs for campaigns 
  • Set up campaigns and perform A/B testing, reporting on the results through analytics
  • Conduct research on your audience -- who they are, what their habits are, and the best ways to reach them
  • Draft concise, well-written ad copy
  • Pitch in with keyword research using a variety of tools such as SEMRush, Google Search Console, Moz, and others
  • Consistently stay up to date on latest paid media, display, and social trends as well as trends in [company industry]
  • Help analyze campaign results and figure out actionable insights to optimize current and future campaigns
  • Collaborate with Paid Search Manager and teammates to brainstorm strategies to best grow revenue and results
  • Follow guidelines set by Paid Search Manager, but suggest your own ideas when possible. 


  • 1 to 2 years of experience in paid media (search, display, social).
  • An appetite for learning more about paid advertising and digital marketing in general
  • The ability to understand and report on detailed analytics
  • Great communication and collaboration skills
  • Some experience in [industry] and a curiosity to learn more
  • Google Ads certification
  • Fundamental knowledge of SEO (and willingness to learn more)
  • Great copywriting / communications skills
  • Experience with [project management software]
